Inlet and Exhaust valve are high-precision engine components
Their role is controlling the flow of gases in the diesel engine.
The inlet valves seal the intake port , through which the air flows into
the combustion chamber and exhaust valve control the flow of combustion
gases and let them stream out after the combustion cycle.

It also increase the corrosion resistance of the valve.

and are also usually very resistant to corrosion.
